Revealing the south Charlotte dentists

If you wanted to describe the Ballantyne dentists in a quote, Katherine Graham, the Pulitzer winning editor and publisher said it best, “To love what you do and feel that it matters—how could anything be more fun?” Katherine Graham assumed the mantle of leadership of a major newspaper and publishing empire just when the roads of opportunity and responsibility crossed before her. She was endowed with a task she never dreamed would be a part of her story, and in the process, discovered that her new professional life was exactly what she wanted to do.

Many of us will have an idea of what we want to do, and along the way, there are events that reveal who we are and either confirms our direction or profoundly affects it. Cosmetic dentistry is so much more than helping people get a better smile. That is only the part that the patients see. Finding a dentist in the south Charlotte, Ballantyne area

The health care profession is filled with millions of hardworking individuals who see their careers as their passion and reward. This single attribute makes these health care professionals special. Occasionally, I would even say rarely, you will meet health care professionals who are “natural” at what they do. These are the exceptional ones. These are the people who are inherently gifted, or have gone through experiences that motivate them towards their vocation.

Modern medicine has seen remarkable scientific advances in the last few decades, and arguably, the field of dentistry has been the most proactive in making changes that create a more comfortable experience for their patients. Not only has dentistry embraced new and improved technology, it has broadened its scope to better serve the public. About two decades ago, dentistry realized that patients perceived (rightfully so) dental care to be uncomfortable at best, and in some cases extraordinarily painful.

Cosmetic dentistry leads the way

About the same time that hospitals began to rethink their approach to patient pain management, the world of dentistry began to critically rethink its approach to clinical management.  It began to adapt and invent procedures that are painless, and create a clinical environment that is warm and relaxing. This movement led to the development of cosmetic dentistry, a sub-specialty of dentistry that requires extensive training and testing for dentists who specialize in helping patients meet their cosmetic goals by addressing their structural issues. Cosmetic dentists became a specialist in advanced dental technologies and pain free dentistry. The cosmetic dentist also blended artistry with technology that allowed the cosmetic dentist to offer sedation dentistry and alternatives to orthodontics.

Cosmetic Dentists in Ballantyne area of south Charlotte NC

I have always been afraid of the dentist because of the stories people used to tell me, that all changed when I met the Ballantyne dentists. I have learned that cosmetic dentistry can help me achieve a wonderful smile. I did not know the first thing about it, and my fear of the dentist always kept me out of the dental chair. I always thought of a dentist as someone who will give me a hard time when they see a cavity, or will not care when they see me in pain. The friend who enlightened me shares that her experience has been that the cosmetic dentists there are gentle and professional.

Getting orthodontics from your Charlotte dentist

When you think orthodontics, normally you think of teenagers, lots of metal, discomfort and embarrassment. Let go of your old ways of thinking and let in new ideas to comfort you regarding orthodontics. What if you could straighten your smile with confidence in an affordable way, right here in Charlotte?  If you think you are too old for braces or the costs of braces is too high, then think again. You are never too old to straighten your smile with confidence at an affordable price.

orthodontics

Your local Charlotte cosmetic dentist can provide comprehensive orthodontics at affordable prices and easy to set-up payment plans.  As a patient you have options for adult braces such as Six Month Smiles. If you are uncomfortable with your smile, you owe it to yourself to take a step towards giving your smile the makeover it deserves.  Getting adult clear braces is an affordable way to make a dramatic cosmetic difference in your smile.

Normal metal braces

Normal metal braces focus more on a person’s bite causing uncomforting feelings in your mouth due to harder pressure applied from the metal brackets and wires. This process can take an average of two and a half years to finish!  Not to mention, it can be embarrassing walking around with a mouthful of metal.

Six Month Smiles braces

In a matter of six months, this new process uses clear braces to straighten smiles in adults. Using special nickel titanium tooth-colored wires and clear brackets to apply a gentle and steady pressure, Six Month Smiles is less painful and quicker than metal braces. These clear braces address issues with overcrowding and spacing rather than the repositioning your bite. Because of this, patients usually have a straighter smile in an average of just six months.  Shorter time enables you to visit the office fewer times which saves you time and money!

Benefits of Six Month Smiles

·         Predictable results in a shorter amount of time

·         Usually less expensive than traditional braces, aligner therapy, or veneers

·         Average treatment time is around 6 months

·         Short treatment times and the use of low forces increase comfort, safety, and hygiene

·         Appointments are fast and comfortable with 6 Month Smiles special Tray Kids

·         Six Month Smiles Lucid-Lok™ clear brackets and tooth-colored wires are barely visible

Be comforted with all the new options regarding orthodontics for adults.  It’s never too late for a confident straight smile.  Contact your Charlotte cosmetic dentist, here at Ballantyne Center for Dentistry, to schedule your free orthodontic consultation.

I am considering dental implants to replace my dentures. When I was 15 I took a bad fall while skateboarding. The result was the loss of almost all my front teeth. I am 25 now, and I must be re-fitted for dentures for the third time. I’ve heard that as I grow older I will have to replace my dentures less, but the truth is, I just do not like dentures. They have to be taken out every night for cleaning, I can’t eat my favorite foods like steak or apples, and then there then there is that little metal piece that shows in your mouth whenever you smile. Frankly, having dentures at my age is embarrassing.

I went to a health fair at my university, and came across a brochure that talked about dental implants. I got on the Internet and began looking into implant dentistry. It looked pretty involved, and required minor surgery, so I was hesitant. Still, I really couldn’t stand the thought of a long lifetime of dentures. The other day, some friends and I went out to play laser tag, and we drove past the Ballantyne Center for Dentistry in Charlotte, NC. I pulled in to get a brochure on dental implants. They were so polite and helpful. I mentioned that after all my dental problems I am a little gun shy about going to the dentist for this much work. The receptionist explained to me about sedation dentistry, and how sedation dentistry provides a pain free, relaxing dental experience.

The case for dental implants

Dental implants will be better for me because I will have a more natural looking smile, and my speech won’t be impaired.  Dental implants are permanent, this way I can say goodbye to sore gums, and eat the food I like. Most importantly, I don’t have to soak them at night and I can take them out when I go camping with my friends. The replacement teeth look and feel completely natural, and there is no bone loss or erosion of the gum line, like with dentures. This prevents shifting of natural teeth, as well as prevents bone loss, so my smile will stay the same.

The best restorative dentists in Charlotte

I got my dentures at the general dentist’s office, but I have decided to go to the Ballantyne Center for Dentistry in Charlotte, NC for my dental implants. The staff is so friendly and the atmosphere is so relaxed, I cannot imagine a better place to go through a pain free dental experience. They offer sedation dentistry as part of their practice, and I’m certain it will make the whole process much easier. Visit their website for more information, or drop by; they are always willing to help. Either way, this reliable dentist is the main reason I am considering dental implants.

I need a lot of dental work done, and I do not have to put it off anymore, thanks to sedation dentistry. I have always had a secret fear of dental visits and even checkups. I am sure this fear dates back to some significantly painful visits that I endured as a boy. I have been reading everything I possibly can to find a pain free dentist, and I found a lot of information on the Ballantyne Center for Dentistry website. This trusted cosmetic dentistry center specializes in sedation dentistry, which means that patients like me can take a pill that will relax me without putting me to sleep. That is a big relief as well because I do not want to be put to sleep.  However, it is my understanding that I may not even remember the procedure. This means I can get all kinds of restorative dentistry performed. I have known for some time that I need fillings, and of course, I will need my teeth cleaned. With sedation dentistry, it’s as good as done.

Reconstructive dentistry

I have a little better understanding of what reconstructive dentistry means. Your Charlotte, NC cosmetic dentist will perform any procedure that will reconstruct your smile to make it work best for you. If you have a bite that needs to be corrected, teeth that need to be straightened, or crowns that need to be placed, your reconstructive dentist can fix these issues with tooth colored enamel, and crowns. Ballantyne Center for Dentistry specializes in the use of Cerec when making crowns. This is a special procedure so that the restorative dentist can fit and apply right in the office with no waiting for crowns to come back from a dental lab. Not only will you get your healthy, youthful smile back, you can get it fast!

Sedation dentistry isn’t only for lengthy procedures. Maybe you’re like me, afraid of even getting into the chair for a cleaning, or you want to have teeth whitening. Sometimes, just knowing that sedation dentistry is always available during your dental procedure is enough comfort to ease your anxiety.

The best sedation dentist in Charlotte, NC

There are many cosmetic dentists in Charlotte, NC, and the Ballantyne Center for Dentistry is easily the best practitioner of sedation dentistry. These reliable cosmetic dentists are committed to bringing a pain free experience to their patients and they are determined to make you feel relaxed from the moment you walk in the door. The office is like a day spa that welcomes you from the moment that you walk into the door. In addition to sedation dentistry, the Ballantyne dentists are associated with the headache center for the treatment of dental problems that can lead to migraine headache. After being transferred from Seattle to Charlotte, NC, one of the first things I needed to do was find a dentist who performs cosmetic dentistry. As a father of five, three of whom are pre-teens, I am going to need some special work done as far as Six Month Smiles and teeth whitening. Personally, I would like to find a sedation dentist to ease my dental anxiety.

General dentistry versus cosmetic dentistry

I understand the difference between a general dentist and cosmetic dentistry. I like the quality of care a cosmetic dentist offers, with an eye on the aesthetic as well as general health of my smile. My family has a need for more than just fillings and dental hygiene. I have porcelain veneers that look like they will need some work in the next year or so. It is not as if my family or I will need dental overhauls, but if our dentist is a cosmetic dentist then the door is wide open. We had a great cosmetic dentist in Seattle, and when we got here to Charlotte, NC we got lucky following our instincts and choosing Ballantyne Center for Dentistry. The office is beautiful as a day spa, and the staff is friendly and professional.

Sedation dentistry

I got some valuable information about sedation dentistry offered by our Charlotte cosmetic dentist. She has a couple of root canals, and would like to have them replaced with dental implants, but she wants to be put to sleep. I asked the dentist about this and he said that they do not put patients to sleep but they can use sedation dentistry, which will leave her awake. When it is over, she will not remember the procedure; one little pill does the trick. Next week we have an appointment for her to get a consultation on reconstructive dentistry.

The best cosmetic dentist in Charlotte, NC

I know it seems strange to get hyped about a cosmetic dentist, but the truth of the matter is that if you find a reliable dentist, everything takes care of itself as far as cosmetic dentistry services. Charlotte, NC is a great town, but no matter how friendly everyone is, it is still unsettling to deal with all the changes. One thing that I am sure of, and that is that Ballantyne Center for Dentistry has offered me confidence with their thoroughness and knowledge of the nuances of cosmetic dentistry. Visit their website and you will see exactly what I mean. You can also call them to arrange for a free consultation about cosmetic dentistry.

Porcelain veneer remakes are an eventuality, even though porcelain veneers are a durable and attractive option for smile restoration. Dental veneers last for years, but they will eventually need to be replaced. Replacing veneers is basically the same procedure as the initial installation. Original veneers are bonded, or for the sake of simplicity, they are glued to the original tooth. A good restorative dentist will skillfully remove the veneer without removing too much of the original tooth surface.

porcelain veneers remake

Dental bonding and porcelain veneers are used to fix cavities, broken teeth, and improve the look of healthy teeth. Porcelain veneers are applied to the entire front surface of the tooth. Porcelain veneers make your teeth look better by changing their color, shape, angle or spacing. Your cosmetic dentist at Ballantyne Center for Dentistry can fix teeth that are broken, chipped or cracked, that have spaces between them or that are discolored. Cosmetic dental treatment will beautify your smile, giving you more confidence.

When porcelain veneer remakes are necessary, the trusted cosmetic dentists at Ballantyne Center for Dentistry will place temporary veneers on your teeth until your porcelain veneers are ready. Be sure to exercise care when eating and cleaning your teeth with your temporary veneers are fragile and may come loose very easily.

Who is a candidate for porcelain veneers?

There are some people who are not ideal candidates for porcelain veneers. For example, patients with advanced gum disease have to have the problem corrected before porcelain veneers can be placed. If there is not sufficient enamel on the teeth, the patient cannot receive a veneer. People who habitually grind their teeth are also not good candidates, because teeth grinding can break the veneers.

What you should know

Just like natural teeth, porcelain veneer remakes can be brushed and flossed daily. If veneers are not completely sealed, cavities, decay and stains can form under the veneer. Veneers are an irreversible process because tooth enamel has been removed, which is why it is important to find a reconstructive dentist who is experienced in porcelain veneer remakes.

Teeth whitening has risen in popularity among Americans. We spend 1.4 billion dollars a year on over the counter teeth whitening products. There is no guarantee, and no way to rate the effectiveness of all these products. Still, the fact remains that Americans are concerned about whitening their teeth for various reasons. The main reason that people buy these teeth whitening products is that appearance is important. However, many of these over the counter products are ineffective with little or no guarantee of working.

Causes for discoloration of the teeth

There are several reasons that cause the discoloration of tooth enamel. The widespread causes of teeth discoloration include drinking wine, coffee, tea or even carbonated drinks. Disease can also discolor teeth, as well as vitamin deficiencies. If you suspect a secondary medical cause for your teeth discoloration, be sure to discuss this with your cosmetic dentist at Ballantyne Center for Dentistry.

Finding the right dentist in Charlotte

Nothing can replace years of experience, so when choosing a cosmetic dentist for teeth whitening service, ask how many procedures they have performed. Not all of your teeth are the same natural color. For a number of reasons, some teeth can be darker than others can. Ask your Charlotte, NC dentist what he thinks will be your optimum whiteness, and what is the best and most natural shade for your teeth. The general health of your teeth, and the specific procedure implemented, will affect the outcome. These are questions easily answered by a skilled cosmetic dentist.

However, after the pain is gone reality must be faced.  What is that tooth going to look like? How stable is it going to be? How much is this entire procedure going to cost and can you afford it?

The Ballantyne Center for Dentistry, in Charlotte, NC explains that dental crowns can help to stabilize teeth that have been broken through trauma or damaged due to decay. Trauma and decay often leave the teeth weak and with an uneven chewing surface.  A dental crown covers the tooth and thus protects it from damage in the future.  A crown will also provide a normal chewing surface again.

Dental crown materials are not equal

Dental crowns used to be made from a metal shell that was covered with porcelain.  These were considered to be a long-term fix.  They lasted very well, but they were not very pretty.  They left a dark ring at the gum line that was unattractive. As time has passed and methods have improved it is now possible to get all porcelain dental crowns. In Charlotte, NC patients are now getting all porcelain crowns that not only have the benefit of cosmetic dentistry, they offer a strong, long term solution to poor conditions of existing teeth.

Cosmetic dentists at the Ballantyne Center for Dentistry often remove the old metal lined crown and replace it a porcelain crown.  Not only does this have the effect of beautiful cosmetic dentistry, the cost is similar and the porcelain will provide the patient with many years of protection and beauty.

If you have been considering dental implants as an alternative to dentures or if you need new dentures and want to see what other options are available, you should contact the trusted cosmetic dentists at Ballantyne Center for Dentistry in your Charlotte, NC area. Dental implants offer some benefits over the traditional dentur es that most people are familiar with. However, only your implant dentist can tell you if you are able to choose this option. In some cases people may have suffered too much bone loss for dental implants to be a viable option for their dental needs.

Implant dentistry ideal for cosmetic dentists

Many cosmetic dentists specialize in dental implants and they are a good source of information if you are considering dental implants as an option. Dental implants can be used to replace one or many missing teeth. They also offer a good solution for anchoring dentures so that you do not have the worry of them slipping or needing messy bonding agents to keep them in place. Dental implants are anchored directly into the bone of your jaw. When done correctly, no one, including you, will be able to tell they aren’t your real teeth.

One of the benefits of considering dental implants is that Charlotte residents can retain their beautiful smiles. With implant dentistry, there is no jaw shrinkage associated with tooth loss and dentures. Dental implants also ensure you will still be able to eat all of your favorite foods. Dentures tend to slip or make chewing and biting painful, if not impossible when it comes to certain foods. For instance, raw apples, corn on the cob, and even thick sandwiches can be difficult to eat with dentures. If you have reached the point in your life where dentures seem to be the only solution to your dental problems, consider dental implants.

Considering dental implants makes sense if you want to avoid discomfort

While they are not the perfect solution for everyone, a lot of Charlotte, NC residents are extremely happy they were considering dental implants as an option. If you think about the benefits of dental implants this is really not so surprising! Why settle for dentures that may not fit correctly or can cause pain by rubbing on your gums? Dental implants look and feel just like your real teeth! If you do need dentures wouldn’t it be better to have them anchored firmly in place by dental implants? This would prevent the dentures from shifting and rubbing on your gums. Shifting and rubbing often cause blisters or sores on your gums.

Considering dental implants may be one of the wisest choices you make when it comes to cosmetic dentistry. Residents in the Charlotte, NC area can contact Ballantyne Center for Dentistry with any questions they may have about dental implants and dentures. If you are young or young at heart, considering dental implants makes perfect sense.

One visit dental crowns were at one time no more than a dream for cosmetic dentists and their patients.  Now, with CEREC technology, this dream is a reality.  Indeed, patients in Charlotte NC are getting dental caps and teeth crowns in just one visit every day with CEREC technology provided by the cosmetic dentistry professionalone visit dental crownss at Ballantyne Center for Dentistry.

One visit dental crowns are a miracle of modern cosmetic dentistry

In the past, it was common knowledge that it took more than one visit to the dentist for procedures involving dental caps to be fully completed.  During the first visit, X-rays would be taken as well as impressions of your existing teeth.  Then the natural tooth would be prepared to accept the crown.  Finally, patients would receive a temporary crown to protect the exposed tooth while they waited for the permanent crown to be made.  However, CEREC technology is changing this process.  In fact, is not some kind of a future dream, but it is available to patients now at Ballantyne Center for Dentistry.

What do one visit dental crowns do for my teeth?

Crowns protect teeth that have been cracked or weakened by large cavities.  They also help to fortify teeth that have been drilled out and filled.  Crowns are also used in root canal procedures.  A root canal can weaken a tooth and cause discoloration, problems that can be resolved in just one visit with CEREC.  Indeed, dental caps are the best solution to a variety of dental problems and with CEREC technology they are now one of the fastest cosmetic dentistry solutions available.

More about CEREC dental caps

CEREC technology employs 3D imaging and computer assisted drawing techniques. Your CEREC dentist will take a 3D scan of your teeth and utilize the most advanced porcelain materials to create a permanent dental cap right there in the office while you wait.  There is no need to deal with a temporary crown because your permanent crown can be created in minutes.

CEREC crowns are just as beautiful as any crown you would receive that was made in a lab.  Furthermore, the porcelain materials from which they are made mimic the qualities of your natural teeth, expanding and contracting in response to hot and cold in a way that mirrors the natural tooth material the crown is bonded to.  For that reason, CEREC crowns are not just beautiful, but they actually make your teeth stronger and more durable.

Dentures are no longer the only option for people missing teeth in Charlotte, NC. Historically, dentures were often the only option available when, for whatever reason, a person had lost a tooth or a number of teeth. With advances in cosmetic dentistry, people are now able to choose between dentures and dental implants. In some cases dentures may still be the most reasonable option. However, it is always nice to know that there is an alternative available. Many people have already tried dental implants and have found them to be a great alternative.

Dentures not always easy to wear

Dentures sometimes fit poorly or cause pain from rubbing and food getting caught under them. Having dentures sometimes means having to use messy sealants to protect your gums from food particles. Many times people have to give up eating some of the foods they love because the dentures just don’t provide the ability to bite into some things. For people who have suffered through this scenario, or who are facing this choice, dental implants from the trusted implant dentists at Ballantyne Center for Dentistry, may provide a better solution.

Dental implants can replace one or more lost teeth. They are anchored firmly into the jawbone, basically the same as your natural teeth are attached. This provides a more natural feel when biting into foods. You do not have the fear that they may slip while you are eating, talking, or smiling. Dental implants have been found to give people more confidence in their replacement teeth. They can also be used in conjunction with dentures to provide a firm and secure anchor so that the dentures fit and look more natural.

Denture materials improved, but still not as comfortable as dental implants

The materials used to produce dentures has improved considerably over the years so that it is now possible to provide false teeth that look much more natural than in the past. However, it is still difficult to provide a truly comfortable pair of dentures. There is almost always a period of adjustment while your gums and jaw become accustomed to the false teeth. Dental implants reduce or remove this adjustment period because they are anchored into the bone from the beginning. They will not slip or rub on tender gums, or the insides of the mouth.

If you have been considering dentures in the Charlotte, NC area, you may want to talk to your dentist about the possibility of having dental implants instead of, or in conjunction with them. Dental implants may not be the best solution for everyone. Your cosmetic dentist at Ballantyne Center for Dentistry should be able to give you more information about what the implants can and cannot do for you. In some cases there may be too much bone loss for the implants to be used. This is something that your dentist can help you determine.

If you are ready to make the leap from uncomfortable dentures to dental implants, contact the professionals at Ballantyne Center for Dentistry today and make an appointment for an evaluation. You may discover that dentures can be a thing of the past!

Migraine headaches are debilitating. Ask anyone who suffers from migraines, and they will tell you about loss of work time, reduced quality of life, pain, pain, and more pain. The latest research indicates that some headaches may originate in the mouth, particularly if you are a woman. Clenching or grinding teeth can put terrific stress on the muscles, nerves, tendons and ligaments of the dentomandibular region that, in turn, can create chronic headaches, and even severe migraines. With the help of cosmetic dentists at Ballantyne Dentistry's Carolina Migraine Center in Charlotte, NC, residents no longer have to suffer the effects of migraine symptoms.

Clenching, grinding and chewing can cause migraine symptoms

When patients experience migraines, their first thought is to see a medical doctor. This is always a good decision, as chronic headaches could be caused by a variety of causes, some more serious than others, that require medical attention. However, if you have seen a medical doctor for migraine symptoms and still can’t find relief, or if the medication required for migraine headaches causes adverse side effects, you might want to consider a visit to Carolinas Migraine Center at the Ballantyne Center for Dentistry.

Think about it: The force required to chew and tear food is tremendous. If you are a nighttime grinder, or clench in your sleep, add that in to your daily chewing and tearing and you have a lethal combination for serious, painful symptoms that often include headaches. The wear and tear on muscles, nerves and tendons over years of this level of stress is akin to an athlete who puts the same amount of stress on his body to run a marathon or compete in professional football.

Headache, neck pain, tinnitus (ringing in the ears), clicking or popping in the jaw, are all symptoms related to dentomandibular stress. Sometimes an auto accident, wisdom tooth removal, or orthodontia can cause these symptoms to flare, and we may not even know our migraines are related.

Sports medicine technology aids in migraine diagnosis

Thanks to advances in sports medicine technology, cosmetic dentistry is now able to diagnosis migraines related to dental stress. The TruDenta treatment system employed at the Carolina Migraine Center, utilizes low-level laser therapy, therapeutic ultrasound, and micro-current nerve stimulation, the same therapies used for years in sports medicine, to address the painful symptoms related to dentomandibular sensorimotor conditions, or dental related headaches, as well as other symptoms.Carefully trained in this exciting, new TruDenta technology, the experienced cosmetic dentists at Ballantyne Center for Dentistry are ready to help patients who have suffered for years with migraines, headaches, in the latest migraine treatment, in their Charlotte offices today.

Sedation dentistry will help you walk into your next dental visit and actually enjoy it.  Instead of fearing your dental procedures, embrace them by visiting a sedation dentist in Charlotte.  Dr. Yaste and Dr. Hufanda at the Ballantyne Center for Dentistry are certified sedations dentists from the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation (DOCS), providing proper sedation education since 1999 to over 17,000 dental professionals.

What is sedation dentistry?sedation dentistry

Sedation dentistry provides a relaxing and stress-free dental experience.  According to DOCS, more than thirty percent of people do not go to the dentist because of fear and anxiety.  With the help sedatives such as tranquilizers, depressants, anti-anxiety medications or nitrous oxide, sedation dentistry provides patients with not only stress-free experience but also pain free dentist visits as well.

Sedation dentistry can be performed in a variety of ways.  Popular in the past, intravenous (IV) sedation was most common.  This is when sedatives are delivered through injections into the blood stream.  However, in the modern world sedatives have become much more advanced by highly trained professionals.  Oral sedations are the most common technique used today and require no needles.  Just take a pill and away you go!

What happens when I take the pill?

Contrary to popular belief, you do not actually go to sleep, so sedation dentists do not enjoy being called sleep dentists.  When you take a sedative pill, your body goes into a very relaxed state in about an hour.  Some patients even doze off into a dream state.  You feel nothing and barely remember your preconceived dental phobias.  You wake up with a healthy mouth and more beautiful smile then go home and rest.  It is painless, easy and simple.

When sedation dentistry is practiced by highly trained dental professionals you can make sure you are safe and in good hands.  Make sure you have a companion drive you to and from your dental procedures to ensure both safety for you and others on the road.  You will most likely feel drowsy after the procedures.

Where to find a sedation dentist?

Make sure to find a licensed and certified sedation dentist in your area.  The internet makes it very easy to use search engines like Google or Yahoo with keywords such as sedation dentistry, sleep dentist or twilight dentistry to find dental offices who provide sedation dentistry in your area.  Once you find a dentist in your area, check to see if they are certified by DOCS, and then call and make an appointment!
